Irish Traditional Music
Doolin is famous for its association with Irish Music and especially for the great sessions in the pubs.
Many festivals are taking place in Doolin all year round such as "The Russell Memorial Weekend", "The Doolin Folk Festival", "The Doolin Craft Beers Festival", etc.
Cliffs Of Moher
The Cliffs Of Moher are one of the natural wonders of the world and are only 10 minutes away from our home.

The Burren is an amazing national park that offers stunning landscapes and historical & archeological sites.
Doolin Cave is part of the extensive cave system of the Burren region and hosts the Great Stalactite, the third largest in the world. It is truly a wonder you shouldn't miss !
The Aran Islands are famous for their geological formation, historical monuments and their linguistic and cultural heritage.

Cafes & Restaurants
Doolin and the Burren are kind of a "foodie heaven" ! Here are some of our favourite places to eat.
There are a good few shops in Doolin, including crafts shops, sweater shops, music shop and even a chocolate shop !
Doolin, the Burren, and Co. Clare are virtually limitless in terms of walks ! From a short stroll by the sea to a guided hike in the Burren, there is something for everyone.
You can rent a bike in Doolin or book a mountain bike tour (suitable for all levels) in the Burren !
Ireland is associated with horses all around the world and it s a wonderful way to discover our area and its magical landscapes.
Discover North Clare and the Burren from the water with exciting tours to suit all levels !
Lahinch Beach is a great spot for surfing and it is only 15 minutes from our house. Lessons for beginners available too !
The Burren coastline offers some wonderful cliffs for rock climbing and there is also an indoor climbing wall in Lahinch.
Golf and Pitch & Putt
We are lucky to live only 15 minutes away from Lahinch wonderful golf course and we also have a beautiful Pitch & Putt here in Doolin with view over the Cliffs of Moher.
You might be able to spot our local celebrity Dusty but it is worth booking an amazing boat trip on the Shannon Estuary to see resident bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat !
The Burren Perfumery is a little piece of heaven where you can take a break during your exploration of the Burren. Have a nice cup of tea and homemade cakes and relax in the gardens.
Try Ireland's best smoked salmon and visit their gourmet store where you will learn a lot about the fine are of smoking fish !
Aillwee Cave & Birds Of Prey
Experience the cave system of the Burren and enjoy a beautiful display of birds of Prey at Aillwee Cave.
Moher Hill Farm
The perfect escape for families where children can enjoy the company of animals and nice play areas located right beside the majestic Cliffs of Moher.
Burren Food Trail
For all the foodies visiting the area, this network will help you discover some great food producers and restaurants !
